It is as strong as Trinidad Moruga Scorpion , which is logical because Chocolate Scorpion is a sub-variety. On the Scoville scale, its strength is between 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 which makes it one of the strongest peppers in the world, just behind the Carolina Reaper .

The spiciness of Trinidad Scorpions is characterized by delayed heat. You won't feel much for the first three seconds, but be prepared because once the trap is closed, its intense heat will lead you to fiery hell for a very long time. What does Trinidad Moruga Scorpion chocolate look like?
The whole Moruga Scorpion family is a group of chillies with an aggressive look. They are short, truncated and rough. A characteristic of their own remains their point in the form of a dart which, of course, give them their eponymous name. The "chocolate" variant has a deep cocoa brown color.
