The Fish Pepper is a pepper with unique characteristics!
The leaves of the Fish Pepper are variegated, making it a very attractive ornamental plant and the plants are distinguished by their small size (about 60cm).
The fruits of this species are multicolored. They go from light green with dark stripes to orange and finally to red when mature. The taste of the fruits is similar to that of the classic pepper but in a little more refined. This species of rare pepper almost disappeared during the 1900s but thanks to some collectors who have saved the seeds, the Fish Pepper is again available to all!
The name "fish" was given to him because this species was formerly used in the driers with fish.
A variety is both ornamental and an excellent parent for chili hybridization!
